(Issues with their SIM card)。
- 他们错误地启用了飞行模式(airplane mode)或请勿打扰模式(Do Not Disturb mode)。
(How to Tell If Someone Blocked Your Number on iPhone)
如果您没有足够的通话时间,请了解如何使用 WiFi 拨打手机(how to use WiFi to make cellphone calls)。
- SMS/MMS向此人发送消息。
(Hide Caller ID )
- 切换显示我的来电显示(Show My Caller ID)选项将其关闭(off)。
(Send a Message Via Chat)
(messaging apps)
(Check the Number of Rings Before Voicemail)
(It Could Be Something Else)
How To Tell If Someone Blocked Your Number on iPhone
You’re trying tо call someone, and your call doesn’t seem to be going through, оr they don’t seem to be picking up.
Worse still, you send messages to them, but you’re not sure if they receive the texts either — because there’s no response.
There are several possible reasons why that would happen:
If you suspect that the person has blocked your number, we’ll show you different things you can try on your iPhone to confirm whether it’s true.
How to Tell If Someone Blocked Your Number on iPhone
When someone blocks your number, they’ll no longer receive calls or text messages from you.
You won’t get any official alert or notification if they block your number. But, if you call and it rings once or doesn’t ring and goes right to voicemail, you may have been blocked.
There’s no simple process to tell if someone blocked you. However, you can try several different things to check if you’re blocked.
- Call from a different number and see if they pick up. If you don’t have enough airtime, find out how to use WiFi to make cellphone calls. If you call and get an automated message like “the customer is unavailable” or a similar response over several days, it could mean that their phone is off or on Do Not Disturb mode.
- Send the person a message via SMS/MMS. If you send a text and it doesn’t show the Read or Delivered notification, you’ll see anything but a blank space beneath your text. In iMessage, the Delivered badge would stop appearing beneath your message. This could mean that you’ve been blocked — especially if it’s been several days since you sent the message.
- Launch a conference call and see if you can connect.
Hide Caller ID
If you prefer not to use a different line, you can type *67 followed by the person’s phone number to mask your number. If the phone rings normally more than a few times, it almost definitely means they’ve blocked your unmasked number.
Alternatively, you can hide your caller ID and call the person who has blocked your number. Your iPhone has the Hidden Caller ID feature, which masks your number so that the other person’s phone won’t detect it.
- Tap Settings > Phone.
- Next, tap Show My Caller ID.
- Toggle the Show My Caller ID option to switch it off.
Try calling the person that has blocked your number and see if they pick up.
Note: If the feature doesn’t work, your carrier has probably disabled it, in which case you can try calling from a different iPhone.
Send a Message Via Chat
If you’re still unable to get through to the other person, you can try sending a text or chat via messaging apps like WhatsApp.
Check if you’re able to call or text them on WhatsApp. If they don’t pick up your call, they’re probably offline, or they’ve blocked you.
To be sure they’ve blocked your number on WhatsApp, send a text and see if it goes through. If you see two blue ticks or two grey checks, you’re still connected. If it’s only one check that lasts for several days, it’s a sign that you’ve probably been blocked.
You can also try adding the person to a WhatsApp group and see if you can add the person. If you can’t add them and you get the Could Not Add Contact error message, it means they’ve blocked you.
Check the Number of Rings Before Voicemail
If you call someone and hear the usual number of rings before your call is sent to voicemail, don’t worry – you’re still connected to them.
Sometimes you may hear an unusual ring pattern. This could mean several things: the person’s phone is off, they’re on another call, or they’ve redirected all their calls to voicemail.
However, if you only hear a single ring before your call is diverted to voicemail and the pattern persists, you’ve probably been blocked.
It Could Be Something Else
There may be a simple reason why your calls or text messages aren’t going through in most cases. Don’t immediately jump to the conclusion that they blocked you. Maybe they’re having network challenges or they didn’t pay their bill on time. Or they might have switched on Airplane mode or Do Not Disturb.
Before you jump to conclusions, it’s good to give the person some time. If you meet often, you could ask them about it. You can also try reaching out through a family member or mutual friend.
