Tec+ Dynamo Levitating Bluetooth Speaker
(Construction and hardware specifications)
The Tec+ Dynamo Levitating Bluetooth Speaker Review - The Death Star of speakers!

How would it feel to hаve a Tec + Dynamo Levitating Bluetоoth speaker on your dеsk? Keep reаding this review to find оut:
Unboxing the Tec+ Dynamo Levitating Bluetooth Speaker
As always, any serious testing starts with a p roper unboxing. The Tec+ Dynamo Levitating Bluetooth speaker comes in a cubic box without any flashy design or see-through windows. The handle and the blue label, pointing out a few specs of the device, are the only things that stand out from the bland, brown cardboard box.
Bluetooth range, up to ten meters (standard range for Bluetooth applications), play time, up to five hours (it seems a bit short), Bluetooth version 4.0 (new standard, that's good). Just the basics, but it's really quite a simple device, so there is no other information you would need for now. The device is tightly packed in styrofoam, which means it should survive careless handling when in transport.
Inside the package you will find the base unit, the speaker, a positioning tool, the AC adapter (mains supply) for the base unit and a micro-USB cable for charging the speaker. There is a tiny user manual supplied as well, which covers all the information required to operate the device properly.
Our unit came with a three-blade AC adapter plug ( Type G , used in the UK and several other countries). Please check the type of the AC adapter plug with your vendor before you buy the device.
Construction and hardware specifications
The base has a diameter of 5.9 inches (15 cm) and is 0.8 inches tall (2 cm), while the orb has a diameter of 3.5 inches (9 cm). The mains supply cable is 5.5 feet long (1,7 m), enough for positioning the base unit on a desk. The base only has a socket for mains connection, while the speaker has an On/Off button and a micro-USB socket for charging.
The base unit has a blue LED ring on its edge, while the speaker has both a blue LED band and a few red LED s , which blink when the device is in pairing mode.
The speaker specs are not encouraging for an audiophile: the speaker driver size is only 1.6 inch (4 cm), the signal-to-noise ratio is 80 dB, the continuous (RMS) power is an unimpressive 3 W and while the frequency response range of 150 Hz - 20 kHz sounds good in theory, it's unlikely a speaker this size will have much bass reproduction. But we will get to that in the next section.
The device uses Bluetooth 4.0, but unlike similar products, it has no NFC capability. The battery drain should not be a problem then, right? Wrong. According to specifications, play time is just up to 5 hours, with many similar products claiming a battery life in the range of 10 hours. On top of that, charging takes a long time, up to 3 hours.
The (rather lackluster) product page is really hard to find on the Internet, but after some careful searching, we found it: Dynamo Levitating Bluetooth Speaker. Now let's get to the fun part, the actual test.
