Fix: Chrome.exe Bad Image, Error status 0xc000012f

While using the latest version of Google Chromе browser on mу Windows PC reсently, I received a Chrome.exe Bad Image error message. Chrome just wouldn’t load, and I was wondering what had happened and what needed to be done now, apart from going in for an uninstall and fresh install.

For your information., 0xC000012F means STATUS_INVALID_IMAGE_NOT_MZ.

Now, first of all, I’d recommend that you try to reset your Chrome using the newly introduced Reset Chrome feature.

Navigate to the following folder:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application
